PTA - Newsletter November 2009
Dear Parents / Carers,
Before we get too wrapped up in Christmas I would like to thank everyone who helped at the Halloween Disco, without your help the children would not be able to show off their fabulous costumes.
Mrs King advised everyone in her Newsletter of a "date for the diary" but unfortunately the date was omitted, the PTA have organised a Christmas Shopping Event on Thursday the 10th of December at 7pm.
On this evening you will be able to buy last minute gifts for all the family. Virgin Vie, Candles, Jewellery, Toys, Cards Handbags, Purses, Calendars, Food stuffs and of course a piece of work that your child has made.
One of the reasons that we are holding a Fund raiser is to help pay for the children’s Christmas treats of having the pantomime come to school.
The cost of this event is quite expensive, £800, therefore by having a dress down day as well this will hopefully raise another £200 and the PTA will fund the rest. This will be an event all the children can enjoy.
Christmas won’t be Christmas without hampers.
If you would like to participate in this event please send a donation of Christmas goodies into school by FRIDAY 4th DECEMBER. Please ensure that the item is within the sell by date and is not damaged. Tickets will go on sale nearer the time.
Thank you for your continuous support.
Julie Elliot
Chairperson of PTA
